Review A Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Vacation

Down Town South

Puerto Vallarta, in Mexico’s largest bay (the seventh largest in the world), offers beautiful sandy beaches and a charming Mexican village, surrounded by lush tropical jungle .  It is home to nearly endless entertainment options for every taste – from cultural expositions and events to adventure trips to the jungle and beach activities.

Many include it among the top ten most popular tourist destinations in the world, though it does feel as commercial as the older, larger tourist destination of Acapulco.  Still, tourism is the main industry in Puerto Vallarta and it attracts more U.S. visitors than Acapulco.

Despite Puerto Vallarta’s recent development, its downtown still retains a small town atmosphere, with cobbled streets and white-washed buildings and red-tile roofs.

If you were a fan of the Love Boat, remember this was a destination point each week on the show.  I always wanted to come here, but I never did get to see Julie.  ?=+#@  Dixie, just popped me on the head.  I had better get back to business.

We stayed at the resort most of the time as there were so many things to do and they all started at our Hotel.  Our next visit, we plan on doing more discovering of what else there is to offer.
